 Emerson Process Management’s AMS™ Suite: Intelligent Device Manager has defined the industrial plant asset management (PAM) software market for over a decade. We are pleased to announce two new AMS Device Manager software releases are now available, delivering an outstanding opportunity to enhance your facility’s maintenance operations efficiency.
Here’s a quick overview:
The 9.0 release includes support for more device tags, more workstations, new utilities, and enhanced integration with the DeltaV version 9.3 digital automation system. When installed on DeltaV 9.3 workstations, AMS Device Manager 9.0 provides an automatic user account synchronization option, a new utility for adding device types to your system, and a seamless user interface for managing FOUNDATION™ fieldbus and HART® devices, significantly enhancing the previous AMSinside DeltaV product. Version 9.0 is available now on request, and is also provided on DVD in new DeltaV 9.3 software media packages.
The version 8.1 upgrade release adds smart wireless capability and other features to the version 8.0 platform. All existing 8.0 users are encouraged to install the 8.1 upgrade, available for download from the AMS Device Manager Foundation Support website: http://www.emersonprocess.com/Systems/support/index.asp. Please reference knowledge-based article # NA-0600-0068 to access the 8.1 upgrade installation file.
