Emerson Introduces New Micro Motion Stainless Steel Transmitter
Emerson has expanded the range of its compact Micro Motion 2400S transmitters with the introduction of a 316L stainless steel
housing ideal for hygienic and corrosive environments. The integral mounted transmitter is now available with DeviceNet or Profibus DP communication
protocols to deliver accurate mass flow, density and temperature measurements from one device. Ensure optimal process performance for liquid, gas
or slurry stream measurement with the Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis for process line sizes ranging from 1/16” – 10”.
The corrosion resistant stainless steel housing is ideal for applications where instruments
are subjected to regular caustic wash-downs, which are typically found in the food, beverage and life science industries. The 316L construction is
also ideally suited for marine and offshore environments. The integral mount design of the transmitter provides local operator interface, simplifies
installation and reduces costs. |
