Micro Motion Coriolis for Demanding Applications

The world-leading Micro Motion ELITE range of Coriolis meters have been expanded to handle the toughest of measurement applications.

Corrosive and harsh process fluids – New nickel-alloy C-22 construction ELITE Coriolis for larger line sizes is ideal for oil production, gathering, and refining applications where sour crude or contaminants may exist. These meters are also being adopted in chemical and petrochemical processes where chlorides and halogens are present.

High pressure conditions – New high pressure ELITE Coriolis suitable for larger line sizes and flow rates to 20,000 lb/min (545,500 kg/h) is now pressure rated to 2973 psi (205 bar) and is ideal for LNG, ethylene, natural gas, refining and petrochemical applications where accurate, reliable measurement under high pressure conditions is critical.

Micro Motion Coriolis Handles Two-Phase Flow

Transient, two-phase, flashing, and entrained gas are just a few of the names referred to when gas or air are found in process or flow streams. Whatever it’s called, it can cause havoc for flow measurement – regardless of the measurement device.

Micro Motion has studied entrained gas conditions for years. The result of this commitment is improved Coriolis technology to handle these conditions while delivering accurate, reliable flow measurement. Read more about the complexities of entrained gas and issues to consider in multiphase flow measurement.
