Emerson Introduces Rosemount® Analytical X-STREAM™ Gas Analyzers for Real-Time Process Improvements

Multi-technology, robust product line provides optimal performance in demanding applications SOLON, OH (April 3, 2006) – Emerson Process Management (NYSE:EMR) has introduced the Rosemount® Analytical X-STREAM™ Series of Process Gas Analyzers. The X-STREAM analyzers offer single- and dual-channel analysis utilizing infrared, ultraviolet and visible (NDIR/UV/VIS) photometry, paramagnetic and electrochemical oxygen, and thermal conductivity sensor technologies. X-STREAM analyzers provide real-time control to help customers fine-tune their processes for increased productivity and profitability. The X-STREAM analyzers will be available in three configurations: General purpose X-STREAM – rack mountable or tabletop version Field housing X-STREAM – NEMA 4X / IP66 version that can be purged/pressurized for installation in hazardous areas Flameproof X-STREAM – flameproof (explosion proof) version that can be installed in Class I, Zone 1, Group IIB + H2 hazardous areas The general purpose and field housing versions are being released today; the flameproof version will be released in summer 2006.
