THE CHALLENGE
Many large chemical process pumping systems, as well as gas compressor systems, require bearings to be constantly lubricated. If lubrication falls below the required level, an increase in bearing wear will occur and the equipment’s service life will be shortened.

The Brooks Armored 3750 Purgemeter (Ar-Mite) with the 8800 series downstream controller provides the best solution for this application. The meter not only provides a visual indication but also a transmitted signal to a control or DCS system for alarming functions. The integrally mounted flow controller will maintain set point rate regardless of varying pressures on the lubricant feeds.
