The Story
Chris Leanza, Vice President, Analyzer System Integration Services at PAAI, had been working with Ken Kittinger, Sales Engineer at Brooks Instrument, long before he came to PAAI. So when Chris joined PAAI and needed to find a reliable supplier for their variable area meters (rotameters), he naturally called Ken. Chris respected Brooks as the top-of-the-line rotameter provider, but it was the relationship with Ken that really made the decision to go with Brooks easy.
Before then, PAAI had been buying products from other providers, primarily because of their low pricing. At the time Chris contacted Ken, Brooks products ñ perceived to be the highest quality ñ were also becoming more competitive. To make the deal even sweeter, the local rep for Brooks, AWC, Inc. in Houston, agreed to set up a preferred supplier program, and started stocking key components for PAAI to guarantee their delivery needs were met.

The PAAI account is managed by Sterlin Ibrom of AWC. ìWe decided to move the account to AWC simply because they can provide better, local support,î stated Ken Kittenger. ìThey are able to provide quick turnaround with their preferred stocking program for PAAI.î
