The Daniel®
Senior Orifice Fitting reigns as the most widely used device in gas
measurement.
Operated by one person, this differential technology meter saves time
and money in many ways. It permits plate-changing under flowing
conditions, which means no operation shutdown. By maintaining flow
during plate changes, the fitting also avoids the burden of bypass
piping.
Customers demand this product for other reasons, including its many
sizes and pressure ratings. Daniel is the only company with a fitting
larger than 42 inches and pressure ranges higher than 2,500# ANSI. With
this product and Daniel’s complete product line, the customer meets
requirements with a minimal number of orders.
In addition to multiple sizes/pressure ratings, the device is
field-repairable. That means no downtime and other costs associated with
shipping to a repair site. This fitting also offers special trim and an
available soft seat.
The timed-proved product meets API 14.3 and ISO 5167 requirements. It
also gives the global customer convenient access to Daniel’s calibration
facility and other excellent technical support.
