Daniel® Orifice
Plates may seem like a
small contributor to accurate natural gas measurement. But at Daniel,
orifice plates are the heart of the orifice fitting.
Daniel technicians prepare the plates with special lathes. Technicians
use their CMM (coordinate measurement machine) to verify tolerances.
Completed in sizes from one-half inch to 60 inches, plates must then
pass a careful individual inspection.
The process ends with each plate meeting or exceeding AGA / API standards,
ensuring each orifice plate delivers precision flow measurement. |
