Were currently seeking an Engineering Manager
Electronic Development to lead a team of
engineers and scientists responsible for the
design, development, test and release to
manufacturing of electronics primarily for
Daniels ultrasonic meters. This includes all
aspects of the design process including
hardware, firmware, packaging, safety and
metrology approvals as well as documentation.
Reports to the VP, Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of scientists, engineers and
technicians (typically between four and six) as
relevant to the number of projects.
Interface with offshore engineering teams on
ongoing projects.
Assist Marketing with completion of market
requirement documents (MRD) to document
requirements for new products and modifications
to existing products and platforms.
Provide leadership for the development of
detailed product design specifications, project
schedules and engineering activities.
Provide leadership for continually improving
our engineering processes to make product
development a mature activity.
Assist in the hiring of suitably qualified
personnel for the team.
Ensure projects comply with ISO 9001 policies
and procedures as needed.
Represent Daniel at conferences with personnel
and papers relevant to ultrasonic meter
development.
Requirements:
MS degree or experience equivalent in a
scientific or engineering field (prefer
Electronics Engineering or Computer Science).
Minimum 10 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of flow measurement is a plus.
Experience with managing offshore projects a
plus.
Familiarity with oil and gas industry flow
calibration standards, including performing such
calibrations on various gas and liquid metering
technologies w/various proving methods would be
a plus.
