Field Service Technician

The Global Services and Support Department is currently looking for a Field Service Technician in the North Central U.S. This individual will be responsible for providing installation; operation and maintenance of Daniel control and flow measurement products.  Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Travel frequently to customer sites to render technical support on products supplied by Daniel, including assistance during installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance and repair.
2. Advises and trains customers on system design concepts, operation techniques and maintenance of products.
3. Advises engineering, manufacturing, quality and others on design changes made and problems encountered.
4. Provide technical instruction to customers and other service personnel.
5. Develop and maintain good business relationships with customers and Daniel Sales channels. Create new service opportunities by expanding on existing business.
6. Control costs commensurate with profit goals and business levels.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in oil field measurement services and/or experience in process instrumentation. Possessing strong computer and communication skills is a definite plus. This position requires travel 30-50% of the time.
