Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities:

Initiate process improvements that increase efficiency and/or result in
substantial annual cost savings.
·
Utilize Six Sigma Skills and Lean Manufacturing Skills and lead the
improvement efforts of assigned production areas.
·
Generate monthly cost savings reports.
·
Identify improvements to reduce manufacturing time by
recommending/helping initiate “best practices”.
·
Develop advanced assembly, process and test methods for various
products.
·
Utilize knowledge of automation and semi-automation equipment to
maximize efficiency and safety.
·
Define
and document process flows for assembly and processes, which include
writing and maintaining assembly, process and test process instructions.
· Develop
and maintain accurate operation sheets that are in accordance with all
ISO requirements
·
Help
guide, train, and direct other members of the Manufacturing Engineering
Department. May also lead cross functional teams
· Create
and maintain accurate bill of materials and labor routings to insure
accurate standard costing of manufactured products
Minimum
Requirements/Qualifications:
A Bachelors
Degree in an Engineering discipline with 3-10 years of manufacturing
experience with emphasis in processes improvement & documentation within
machining and fabrication. AutoCAD and basic computer skills
preferred. Experience with lean six sigma a plus.
