Daniel® Strainers, Seal Pots, and Traps
Daniel offers a variety of strainers, seal pots and
traps.
Strainers are installed in pipelines upstream of meters, pumps and
valves. Strainers protect equipment from pipe scale, welding spatter and
other foreign matter.
Seal pots are chambers that capture water, thus preventing inaccurate
measurement by a gas flowmeter.
Mercury traps contain and prevent loss of mercury, should extreme
pressure differential develop between the low- and high-pressure sides
of a meter's chambers.
