Archive Data Logs

The financial value of natural gas measured by flow meters makes historical measurement information very valuable. Verifying meter integrity has never been more important. Daniel Archive Data Logs are easy to use and help validate measurement integrity by providing:

  • 100 days of hourly measurement data
  • 365 days of daily measurement data
  • 3,000 audit log records
  • 3,000 alarm log records
  • Automated download of data to Microsoft Excel® using Daniel CUI Deluxe software

When a Daniel Ultrasonic Meter is built, metrology information is stored in the meter. Each meter’s metrology information includes information on path length, diameter, meter calibration factors, and many other parameters that can directly affect measurement integrity. If the meter configuration is changed, accuracy of the meter can be affected. The Daniel Archive Audit Log records configuration parameter changes with time-stamping. Additionally, the Archive Audit Log accurately records the meter’s power fail and power restore times, providing confidence of the actual meter operating time.

The Daniel Archive Alarm Log records time-stamped alarm information. This information includes alarm description, status (set/cleared), type (high/low) and limit and alarm values. This feature permits accurate and timely corrections to billing.
