Live Gas Composition
from a Gas Chromatograph (GC)
Daniel has established an industry
first by integrating flow computer functionality in the
SeniorSonic and
JuniorSonic Flow Meters
with live natural gas composition information in the meter. This option
can significantly reduce overall project costs by eliminating the need
for a second, back-up flow computer. When used as a redundant flow
computer, the meter can provide a valuable service if if the primary
flow computer were to fail.
When used as a redundant flow computer,
costs can be further reduced by utilizing the primary pressure and
temperature transmitters. This is achieved by transparently looping the
primary transmitters through the Series 100 Options Board. This is
possible with the Options Board full differential analog inputs. The
Series 100 Options Board can also power 4-20 mA pressure and temperature
transmitters for stand-alone measurement systems.
