Daniel® Pipe Provers

Exact measurement of liquid flow requires on-site meter calibration with liquid at operating conditions. Pipe provers from Daniel perform that important task, calibrating turbine, positive displacement and Coriolis meters in the field.

Pipe provers from Daniel automatically record flowmeter output during displacement of metered flow through the prover’s known volume. The comparison of meter output to the known volume establishes meter calibration factor. Applying Meter Factor - the number that corrects a meter’s inaccuracy -- results in more precise volume measurement for applications that include custody transfer and fiscal measurement. Pipe provers offer the advantage of continuous flow through the meter being calibrated.

Bi-directional provers offer long-term reliability with minimum maintenance. Uni-directional provers flow continuously with minimum pressure loss.
