Overview

 
This 2-day class will utilize lecture, visual aids, case history examinations, and hands-on demonstration to provide the greatest possible exposure to power distribution systems. It is designed to provide those involved in electrical power systems such as engineers, contractors, and facility personnel with an understanding of the overall operation of a power system. Students will learn:

  • analyze the current flow in a diagram
  • operate major components:
    switchgear, panelboards, transformers, etc.
