| Overview
This 4-hour course will provide information needed to understand the hazards
encountered when working around electricity. Covered hazards include: electric
shock and arcs and blasts from high-energy systems. The latest revisions to NEC
and NFPA 70E regarding arc flash protection will be explained. OSHA 1910.332
requires that employees who face a risk of electric shock that is not reduced to
a safe level by the electrical installation are required to be trained on the
hazards that they face working at that facility. Prerequisites
