Overview

 
This 3-day course covers the identification of common factors that jeopardize the reliability of power systems. Understanding the importance of power system maintenance is a critical skill and this course is designed to provide those involved with electrical power systems such as engineers, contractors, and facility personnel with an understanding of what facilitates the reliability of a power system. Students will learn:

  • what makes a system unreliable
  • the three way approach to maintenance
