What is Video-Based Training?
Our video-based training courses function much like an instructor
lecturing to a class, with one important exception: the student can replay the tape as
often as necessary to learn the course material. Our
video-based packages include a 30- to 45-minute videotape and comprehensive course
documentation.
Packaged Training Documentation Student Guide
Our Student Guides include a
thorough discussion of the subject, with one page of illustration for every page of text.
Pre-Tests and Post-Tests measure the students existing knowledge of the subject and
learning gain. And, when Post-Tests are corrected by Emerson Process Management
Educational Services, the student will be awarded Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) (within U.S.) and a Certificate of Completion. Student Guides serve as both a
student workbook and a valuable, permanent reference.
How to use Packaged Training Packaged Training products may be used in a variety of applications.
In addition to being well-suited to individual self-study, they may be used as the basis
for . . . or supplement to . . . instructor-led sessions. A videotape can often illustrate
important concepts, principles, and relationships much more clearly than traditional
classroom methods. Packaged Training can be used:
- as a remedial tool
- as a quick refresher of selected topics
- to satisfy pre-requisites for more advanced
and specialized courses
