| Overview
This 4-day course provides those preparing for advancement in the fluid process controls industry with the basic, overall knowledge they need to further their careers. Major aspects of fluid process control (meas. devices, controllers, final control elements, and fundamental control methods), ISA terminology and symbols are covered by classroom presentations and examples. Practice examinations are provided to improve test-taking skills and minimize "test anxiety". The end goal of the course is to raise the levels of skill and confidence of those preparing to take examinations associated with certifications such as the ISA Certified Control System Technician (CCST) (Level 1). Prerequisites Some experience with process measurement and control may be helpful.
