This course consists of a number of modules, each of which is designed to
introduce the student to configuring Batch sequences and Recipes in an
easily understood manner. The emphasis is placed on practical workshops
where the student is expected to demonstrate their knowledge of RBL and ABC
batch software by writing scripts and creating Recipes that run the
simulated process. The number of students attending this course is limited
to one per console to maximise the “hands-on” approach.

Who Should Attend:
This curriculum is designed for process and control engineers who are
responsible for a batch process that uses RS3 Distributed Control System.
IIf necessary, it is possible to attend just one week at a time from the two
week block.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite for this course is the successful completion of: Introduction
to Configuration (3100)
It is also highly recommended that the following course be successfully
completed: Advanced Configuration (3500)
