Overview

This course is for individuals responsible for interfacing FOUNDATION fieldbus, AS-i, and Profibus DP communication busses to a DeltaV scalable system.

This 4-1/2 day course covers the integration of fieldbus compliant devices using DeltaV systems. Upon completion of the course the student will be able to install, calibrate, configure and check out Foundation Fieldbus, AS-i, and Profibus DP devices, including proper wiring practices.

 

Prerequisites

Course 7009, DeltaV Implementation or Course 7018, DeltaV Hardware and Troubleshooting.

The 375 Field Communicatior and ValveLink diagnostics for fieldbus will be demonstrated
and available for the students as optional activities. Additional devices are available for
student to add to fieldbus segments as optional activities.
