This course is directed primarily at process and control engineers/ managers who will be responsible for implementation of control strategies on RS3.

An intensive 5-day course covering advanced control configuration of RS3. By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Implement advanced continuous and discrete control for continuous (non-batch) processes, using boiler control as model.

Program Outline

The course is divided into five parts:

• Advanced Graphics and Mathematical Formulas
• Advanced PID Options
• Advanced Continuous Control
• Advanced Discrete Control
  Alarm Management and Reporting

Each day will be divided into theoretical and practical parts. During the practical part the delegates will apply the theory on a boiler control model. Apart from these workshops, it is also possible for the delegates to submit their own configuration in advance, which can be discussed and/or worked on during the course.

The number of participants will be limited to two people per console so a to ensure sufficient practical work for all concerned.
