Overview

 

This course is directed primarily at process and control engineers who will be responsible for the configuration and/or maintenance of DeltaV. This course is prerequisite to “System Integration” and “Batch implementation” courses.

This 4 ½ days course covers a complete DeltaV system implementation using the iFix graphics interface. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to define system capabilities, assemble the system, define nodes, run diagnostics, configure continuous , discrete and sequential control strategies, operate the system and define users and security.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of Windows environment and basic knowledge of process Automation Systems.
