Overview

 

This course is for operators, supervisors and managers responsible for the operation of batch processes using DeltaV.

This 3-day course uses lectures and hands-on workshops to provide an in-depth overview of the DeltaV Operator Interface. Students who complete this course will be able to:

  • Access operator displays
  • Manipulate various control module operating parameters to operate the process
  • Respond to process alarms
  • Monitor process performance and optimize control system responses to process dynamics
  • View real time and historical trend data

Prerequisites

Windows ’95 or Windows NT experience

  • Sequential Function Chart operation
  • Phase and Operation Controls
  • Batch Client Operator Interface
  • Controls and Indications
  • Batch Reporting and Tracking each day will be divided into theoretical and practical parts.
