This course is for individuals who are responsible for interfacing Foundation Fieldbus, AS-I, and Profibus DP communication busses to a DeltaV system.

This 4 days course covers the integration of Fieldbus compliant devices using DeltaV systems.
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to install, calibrate, configure and check out Foundation Fieldbus, AS-I, and Profibus DP devices, including proper wiring practices.

Prerequisites

Course 7010, DeltaV Implementation or course 7009, DeltaV Operate Implementation.

• Installation of H1 card and segment checkout procedures
• Rosemount 3244F temperature, Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitters and Fisher 5010F Digital Valve Controller
• Using AMS Inside to calibrate the DVC, and zero trim the pressure transmitter
• Using DeltaV control Studio to configure temperature and pressure loops using Fieldbus device function blocks
• Segment expansion exercise
• Actuator Sensor Interface (AS-I) overview
• Topologies, wiring and installation
• Assembling and configuring AS-I network with DeltaV
• Profibus DP overview
• Topologies, wiring and installation
• Assembling and configuring Profibus DP network with DeltaV

Each day will be divided into theoretical and practical parts. The number of participants will be limited to two people per console to ensure sufficient practical work for all concerned.
