This course is designed for key experienced Fisher-Rosemount service providers (Representatives or FSO's) who are responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the DeltaV Systems. We expect minimum of 1 attendee from each Support Company. Course FR0002 is an IBS Facility Certification requirement.

This 4 day advanced school will concentrate on DeltaV functionality, understanding the architecture and in-depth troubleshooting information. The course is intense and is designed for engineering, installation, and troubleshooting service providers. Students who complete this course will:

• understand how the DeltaV system communicates
  
• understand the DeltaV database architecture and how it works
  
• understand controller redundancy
  
• understand the different bus technologies and how to troubleshoot them
  
• understand the DeltaV Operate architecture and how to convert displays
  
• understand how remote workstations are set-up and how they communicate
  
• understand the advanced applications used: batch, PI, batch historian and OPC
  
• be knowledgeable of the 6.x enhancements
  
• have in depth knowledge of tools used to troubleshoot the DeltaV system.

Prerequisites

Fisher-Rosemount Courses 7011, 7009 or 7010, 7017 ,7018 and 7034 DeltaV Version 5 to 6 Transition CBT Microsoft NT Courses 803 & 922
Networking Skills (completed course 5814 or network test)
