This course teaches the tasks required to use and configure Windows based client applications for a PI system, such as PI-PC Datalink and PI-Process book. NO system management, VBA ActiveX scripting or API programming is taught in this course.

This course is for typical users of PI, who want to have an overview of the capabilities of PI software.
System managers of the PI system, members of a PI project team or system integrators usually take this course also. Other potential students: engineers, production managers, process operators, instrument technicians, or information system analysts.

Prerequisites

Working knowledge of Windows 95 or NT interface.
