Overview

 

This course is for maintenance technicians and supervisory personnel responsible for the installation and maintenance of field mounted instrumentation.

This 3 day course uses lectures, demonstrations and hands-on sessions to clarify the principles of operation, calibration and installation procedures for Fisher electronic and pneumatic field mounted instruments. Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:

  • calibrate instruments
  • troubleshoot and repair instruments
  • perform basic controller tuning
  • perform installation procedures correctly

Prerequisites

None, however some experience in pneumatic and electronic instrumentation would be helpful.
