This course is for process control engineers, maintenance technicians and supervisory personnel responsible for all aspects of control valve specification, calibration, and maintenance. Alternatively (a) those considering the purchase, or (b) those who have just purchased FIELDVUE and/or ValveLink.

This 2 day course is for technicians, engineers and others new to Digital Valve Controllers, software and related technology. This lecture style course provides maximum class time with hands-on experience working with FIELDVUE. The proper use of ValveLink software, also configuration, and calibration of the Digital Valve Controller is featured. Students will also learn to appreciate the power of the Valve-Link diagnostic routines. Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:

• understand the new features/benefits associated with FIELDVUE instrumentation
  
• understand the calibration, configuration, and diagnostic procedures using ValveLink software
  

Prerequisites

A knowledge of Microsoft ® Windows™ and a general knowledge of instrument calibration.
