Publishes Third Edition of Fisher® "Control Valve Sourcebook."
Content Greatly Expanded MARSHALLTOWN, IA. (March 27, 2003) Emerson’s just-published, third edition of the Fisher® "Control Valve Sourcebook" presents selection and application guidelines for valves used primarily in electric power generating systems. Containing 33% more pages than the previous edition, the newly printed book provides expanded detail on critical valves used within conventional power plant systems, sliding pressure control applications, as well as in combined cycle, cogen and simple cycle operations. New information is provided on control valve performance and diagnostics. Other chapter topics include control valve and actuator selection, sizing procedures for liquid as well as gas and steam, and steam conditioning valves. Insight is provided regarding valve materials and packing materials and systems, plus codes and piping-and-installation guidelines.
