FIELDVUE® Digital Valve Controllers for All Control Valve Brands. Fisher Controls International LLC announces the capability of mounting its FIELDVUE® Digital Valve Controller series on non-Fisher rotary and sliding stem control valves. This retrofit can be accomplished without removing the valve and actuator from the line, which brings digital valve controller advantages to all areas of a plant with a minimum of effort and cost. By adding the FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controller to a plant’s installed base of control valves, plant operators gain diagnostics capabilities that enhance plant performance and dramatically reduce maintenance expense. The Digital Valve Controller utilizes the HART® protocol for remote communication, which means its operation and that of the valve can be monitored from a field junction box, a marshalling panel, or the safety of a control room. This minimizes exposure of personnel to hazardous or extreme conditions. FIELDVUE instruments provide continuous valve and instrument diagnostics and alert maintenance personnel to problems before they affect the process. Maintenance schedules can be based upon the diagnostics data provided by the FIELDVUE Instrument with costs being reduced by accurately identifying which valves need repair. The FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controller Series is designed and tested for durable performance in high vibration areas, corrosive atmospheres and extreme temperature ranges. Its NEMA 4X housing provides protection from the most difficult environments. With CSA, FM and CENELEC Explosion Proof, Division 2 and Intrinsically Safe ratings, hazardous areas are no problem. |
