MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA (March 22, 2002) - Emerson Process Management introduces its FisherExpress™ program that provides same day shipment of Fisher® control products used in oil and gas production to locations within North America. The express delivery ensures quick availability of the new Fisher® D2 FloPro™ control valve and its new L2 liquid level controller, as well as associated valve pressure controllers and electro-pneumatic signal transducers.

"Our new FisherExpress offering means that we can meet oil and gas patch needs for replacement equipment quickly, which helps keep processing equipment online with little disruption. FisherExpress products are configured specifically for oil and gas patch applications and possess features that help extend product service life."

"We’ve even streamlined the FisherExpress ordering process by offering only one construction of the D2 FloPro control valve and two of the L2 liquid level controller," Burlage explained. "While we’ve kept product choices to a minimum to make selection fast and easy, we still deliver fully-capable control devices that have the most commonly-sought operating features."

The D2 FloPro control valve features one configuration that utilizes adjustment of a FloPro component to meet low to high flow capacity needs. The new D2 design combines a rugged, screwed-end body with a compact, spring-return actuator into a valve that controls pressures to 2250 psig. Flow coefficients include 2, 4 and 6 depending upon the FloPro component setting.

The L2 liquid level controller utilizes displacer sensing to provide either throttling or snap-action control. Standard L2 features include a 2-inch NPT connection, field-reversible output, and materials that comply with recommendations of the NACE MR0175 (National Association of Corrosion Engineers).
