Many offshore environments require the use of stainless steel instrumentation to combat the demanding salt spray atmosphere present 24 hours a day.  The stainless steel digital valve controller is constructed of CF8M (the cast equivalent of 316 SS).  This provides superior corrosion resistance in applications where chemical attack is aggressive.

The stainless steel housing is available with both HART^® and FOUNDATION™ fieldbus communication protocols.
