Dr. Hans Baumann Becomes Technology Consultant for Fisher Controls International LLC

Fisher Controls International LLC has announced that Dr. Hans D. Baumann will now serve as a technology consultant to its worldwide design and development teams following five years as Senior Vice President of Technology for Fisher. hans.jpg (5233 bytes)

Commenting on the new consulting arrangement, Charles Lyons, Vice President Technology at Fisher, stated, "We feel fortunate to have Dr. Baumann continuing to work with us. Without question, he is one of the world’s eminent experts on flow control technologies and control valve designs."

Dr. Baumann is the founder of the H. D. Baumann Company, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, which is now a Fisher subsidiary serving the industrial H.V.A.C, light chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnical industries. He was a director of the ISA Standards and Practices Department and serves as the U.S. technical expert on IEC Standard Committee SC65B/WG9 for control valves. Throughout his distinguished career Dr. Baumann has authored numerous articles on various control valve topics, has 95 U.S. patents to his name, and also is the author of Control Valve Primer—A User’s Guide published by the ISA.
