The Type SR5 and Type SR8 are designed for optimal performance in water-for-injection (WFI) and clean steam applications; and clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitize-in-place (SIP) systems.

The Fisher Type SR5 sanitary pressure regulator and Type SR8 sanitary back-pressure regulator are designed to meet the performance demands of the sanitary process environment. Each Fisher Sanitary Regulator has 316L stainless steel body and wetted metal parts and 316 stainless steel spring case. All wetted surfaces are mechanically polished to a 20 Ra Microinch finish and then electropolished. Installation and maintenance are facilitated with Tri-Clamp® flange end connections, and quick-disconnect bonnet.

The traditional quality and robust construction of Fisher products helps extend the useful life of sanitary process equipment and increase system integrity. The extensive use of 316L stainless steel for the metallic wetted parts in the Type SR5 and Type SR8 pressure reducing and back pressure regulators assures long life and dependable performance.

The Type SR5 and Type SR8 are available in the following flanged end connection sizes: 1/2, 3/4, 1, and 1-1/2 inch all with Tri-Clamp fittings. Fisher indicates there will be other sizes to follow. The diaphragm materials offered include: 316L stainless steel, Teflon-Coated Viton® and EPDM. There are two seat materials, metal or soft seat (TFE). The spring or operating ranges for the Type SR5 and Type SR8 are: ½ , 3/4 and 1 inch: 2 to 135 psi and 2 to 90 psi; 1½ inch: 2 to 100 psi and 3 to 85 psi. Parts kits are also available.
