Emerson enhances Machinery Health Management training with new facilities and managementAdministrative changes and new locations boost effective training experience
KNOXVILLE, TENN (April 4, 2006) - Emerson Process Management has redesigned its Machinery Health Management training program to boost the effective learning experience. Classrooms in Emerson's Knoxville training facility, the primary location for Machinery Health Management courses, have been expanded. Training courses previously taught in Houston have been reassigned to Emerson's Austin, Texas, training facility. This move consolidates the availability of Machinery Health Management training with Asset Optimization and other PlantWeb® architecture training. Companies who will train personnel from both operations and maintenance departments will appreciate the convenience of working with a single Emerson location. In December 2005, Mong-Ching Lin was appointed training manager of Emerson's Machinery Health Management business. Ms. Lin's company experience combined with extensive customer interface have energized her commitment to training excellence, from upgrading instruction manuals and on through the full range of training and educational services Jeff Besola, director of global sales for Emerson's Machinery Health Management business summarizes the changes as "just another example of the Emerson commitment to providing complete, integrated solutions for companies implementing or enhancing their reliability programs. While our leading-edge technology products are designed to be easy to use, there are always advanced applications that can be best learned in a classroom environment."
