As a contracting company you have a very broad responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of many different types of plant, such as terminals, offshore platforms, chemical plants, refining, etc.  The range of disciplines and expertise that you need to meet the demands of the market grows continually as new technologies evolve and customer expectation increases.

The requirements for fiscal and allocation measurement systems can be onerous and often the skills required to ensure that you deliver the best solution to your client are difficult to come by. It is also the case that measurement system manufacturers, in a quest to win new orders, will exploit deficiencies in enquiry specifications to ensure they get the lowest bid on the table. This gets them to the negotiation table where they can manipulate specification and pricing to their benefit. As a result, contracting companies that do not have sufficient depth of experience in metering stand to deliver inadequate solutions to their clients.
