METCO Services offers training in the concepts and the practice of hydrocarbon
custody transfer (fiscal) metering, allocations and hydrocarbon accounting.
Introductory, general and client-specific training courses provide the
flexibility to tailor the course content to suit your requirements.
Courses cater for the varying needs of different levels of delegate from those
totally unfamiliar with metering, through to those that have great expertise in
the field of metering but wish to refresh or expand their knowledge.
Presentation Material is in "modular" form and available in
electronic format.
The theoretical courses deal with the commercial implications, flow
calculations and instruments required to carry out the measurements along with
techniques for re-certifying these instruments. Each delegate receives a course
manual that could more appropriately be titled as a "Textbook in Custody
Transfer Metering". The manual may be issued in either paper or CD format
depending on the Client's choice.
Presented by our Metering Consultants, who have experience working with the
complex shared pipeline operations of the UK North Sea, the courses benefit
from being both pro-active with current metering issues, and having a history
of accumulated knowledge.
