Emerson’s New Flow Technologies Center in China to Expand Production, Service and Support for Asia Pacific Customers

BEIJING (Aug 23, 2007) – Emerson Process Management, a business of Emerson, today announced a major strategic investment in a new Asia Flow Technologies Center that will expand production facilities, and further strengthen customer service and support to help meet the rising demand for flow measurement products and serve the growing Asia Pacific region.

Under construction in the Nanjing Jiangning Science Park in Nanjing, China, the new Emerson Flow Technologies Center will serve as a world-class regional manufacturing and distribution hub for industry-leading flow measurement technologies. Designs include a world-leading measurement technology and produce Micro Motion® Coriolis flow and density meters, Rosemount® vortex and magnetic flowmeters, and Daniel® Ultrasonic and Differential Pressure products for a wide range of industries.

Calibration facilities can accommodate devices from 0.1” (2mm) to 40” (1000mm) in size. In addition, the new Flow Technologies Center will offer unmatched testing capability including X-ray, dye penetrant, hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, hipot and electronics calibration test. Along with these industry-leading capabilities, the new Emerson Flow Technologies Center will offer superior, local customer support facilities and services.
