An issue has been reported that may affect customers using v2.5 of the Micro Motion ProLink® II software program. If this version of ProLink II is used to download a previously saved configuration file to a transmitter over any Modbus connection (Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, or service port) the ProLink II software instance shuts down. Existing transmitter configuration or operation is not affected in any way, and ProLink II can be restarted and used for all other functions. Note that this does not occur during normal on-line configuration, or when downloading a configuration file over a HART connection.
