Profibus is an all digital, serial, two-way communication protocol that interconnects field equipment such as transmitters, valves,
and controllers. Profibus, as a family of protocols, was designed to provide a communication hierarchy for PLC systems. Extensions to
that architecture, such as Profibus PA, were intended to extend the protocol into process automation applications. Profibus PA
attaches to a host system using Profibus DP, with communication between the buses being established through a gateway or linking

Coriolis Measurement
Connected to Micro Motion sensors with MVD™ Technology, Series 2000 transmitters provide precision fluid measurement in a
wide variety of fluid applications. Outputs include mass flow, volume flow, density, and temperature measurements, in units
that can be selected by the user. Series 2000 transmitters deliver real-time flow rate indication and on-line fluid density
without the need for additional devices.
