Micro Motion 7826 Long Stem Density

Quick Links

7826 Longstem Density Transducer

The Micro Motion 7826 long stem density meter is designed specifically for open and closed tank applications. Operating with either a 7950 or 7951 signal converter, the 7826 delivers both density and temperature measurement with the ability to infer parameters such as Specific Gravity, %solids, or %volume concentration. The 7826 densitometer uses a resonant frequency tuning fork as its sensing element where a change in fluid density will change the natural frequency of the vibrating fork. This change in natural frequency is continuously detected by the 7950 or 7951 Series Computers, and the corresponding fluid density is updated.

A short stem version is also available.

  • Suitable for use on open and closed tanks
  • Tolerant of solids and bubbles
  • No moving parts means virtually no maintenance
  • Insensitive to vibration
  • Integral PT100 temperature sensor
  • Lengths up to 4m/13ft
  • Hazardous area approved ATEX II 2G EEx 'd' IIC T4

Micro Motion 7826 long stem density meter provides optimal measurement for these typical applications:

  • Solvent separation
  • Brewing
  • Slurries
  • Evaporator control
  • End point detection in batch reactions
