Filling & Dosing ImageMicro Motion Coriolis sensors with the 1500 Filling & Dosing transmitter offer customers a powerful solution and very small footprint that allows easier cleaning, lower pressure drop, and increased accuracy. In addition, this transmitter offers the ability to measure mass flow directly in addition to the measurement of volume flow, density and temperature. With the Filling & Dosing feature, this solution provides predictive valve control from the transmitter thereby reducing system latency and improving repeatability.

1500 Filling Transmitter Features

  • High accuracy, repeatable mass flow, volume flow, density, and temperature measurement – all in real time
  • Handles applications for liquids with entrained air and suspended solids, as well as gases and aerosols
  • Compatible with a wide range of sensors including hygienic models for CIP, SIP and EHEDG certification
  • Easily integrated into a wide variety of control strategies
  • Compact DIN rail design suitable for CIP and SIP and fast product changeovers
  • RS-485 Modbus protocol for sending set point and easily integrated into a wide variety of control strategies
  • Discrete valve control out of the transmitter eliminates typical control system communication latencies meaning better fill accuracies and faster response
