Micro Motion Series 1000 and 2000 Transmitters

Micro Motion Series 1000 and 2000 TransmittersMicro Motion MVD™ (multivariable digital) technology, embedded into the 1000/2000 transmitter platform, is scalable to get any application – from the basic to the most complex – up and running quicker, easier and more cost effectively than ever before. Micro Motion MVD allows you to measure multiple variables with integral mounting or remote mounting using a standard twisted, shielded 4-wire signal cable plus delivers built-in smart diagnostics for troubleshooting to ensure overall process efficiency.

Model 1500 and Model 2500 DIN rail mounted transmitters

Designed to easily fit into control room panels, these transmitters feature a simple 4-wire connection to the sensor for power and signal, eliminating the expense of running custom cables or needing to provide a separate power source at the sensor. Their small size saves additional expense in the control room, requiring only 0.03 cubic feet of control room space versus 1.0 cubic feet for space typically required for Coriolis transmitters.

  • Model 2500 measures mass flow, volume flow, density, temperature, drive gain. Corrected volume flow, concentration and other enhanced density variables are optional
  • Model 1500 can output either mass flow or volume flow
  • Analog and frequency outputs are available as well as HART and Modbus digital communications

Model 1700 and Model 2700 field-mount transmitters

Designed for compact integral mounting, or to easily mount on a wall or pipe stand, these transmitters feature a rugged Class I, Division 1 / Zone 1 housing with an optional local operator interface designed to make flowmeter access easy. Flowmeter commissioning is simple and straight-forward with virtually no special programming requirements. Process issues can be easily identified and resolved with built-in, easy access to diagnostics now including PlantWeb alerts with Foundation Fieldbus.
