Prototype Engineering

In Emerson’s Micro Motion prototype facility a 3-axis CNC vertical machine center produces wax models that facilitate early design feedback from customer focus groups. These machines are networked to the CAD/CAM designers. Once a prototype is ready to be made, the engineers download the new model directly to the CNC machine. A myriad of other prototyping machinery enables engineers to reduce development time and reduce time to market, enabling faster response to market demands for new and innovative flow measurement solutions.
