TankRadar “Outstanding Technology” Says Emerson

In Emersons 2007 Annual Report to its shareholders some of the companys products and technologies are highlighted. Under the heading “innovation” RTRs TankRadar system is singled out as one of Emerson Process Managements “outstanding technologies”.

The TankRadar system is praised as being “a key component of the solutions we offer the marine industry, a business we have built over the last five years. These incredibly accurate and rugged systems measure loads on seagoing tanker ships and provide critical information about how a load impacts the ship’s structure”. The spread with the headline “Finding a better way through innovation” details Emerson Process Managements efforts to stay ahead of our competitors by developing new technologies. The two pages feature both a Rosemeount TankRadar STaR gauge and TankRadar STaR workstations on the bridge of a tanker.
