Emerson's line of Preset Controllers are especially designed for the task of controlling the process of loading hydrocarbon and chemical liquids into transporting vessels such as tanker trucks, rail cars, ships and storage tanks.  There are currently two products available: the DanLoad 6000 and the new and improved DL8000.

The DanLoad 6000 has the advantage of wide industry acceptance (CSA, CE, and ATEX approvals) and expandability for applications where I/O demands are high.

The DL8000 is an improved model that meets all of the American Petroleum Institute recommendations as published in the Manual for Petroleum Measurement Systems (MPMS) 2004 edition.  All of the tables for physical properties and the recommended methods of calculation (double precision, floating point math, and dual pulse integrity measurement) are incorporated.  The DL8000 can even revert to the 1980 tables, if selected by the customer.

These two products offer the best in the business today for loading products in a custody transfer application.
