Rosemount Annubar® Technology

  The innovative T-shaped Annubar Sensor is revolutionizing the process industry by improving performance and measurement practices. The Annubar sensor is resistant to wear, warp, or pluggage. The patented manifold head allows convenient RTD maintenance. The T-shaped sensor includes a sealed, pressure-retaining thermowell allowing RTD removal without process shut-down. Stagnation zones on the backside of the patented T-shaped Annubar sensor are positioned to reduce noise and unnecessary pressure variations.  Sensing ports located in this region measure the low pressure. The flat upstream surface of the Annubar sensor is perpendicular to flow, which results in a fixed separation point that improves performance over a wider flow range. A patented frontal slot design measures 70% more of the velocity flow profile than individual sensing ports.  Better sampling increases the accuracy of the measurement.   6. Patented Slot Design for +/- 0.75% Accuracy. Repeatable and accurate measurements can save you money. Whether you are regulating batch processes or monitoring flow rate, the Rosemount Annubar sensor provides +/- 0.75% accurate measurements you can rely on.
