The Shipping Group Supervisor will supervise shipping operations such that all relevant company goals and objectives are achieved at the most favorable cost to Rosemount. Also to supervise all assigned work in a manner which will achieve group objectives with regard to continuous improvement, quality, schedule, cost, safety, and training. Applicant should have shipping experience that includes supervision experience in a manufacturing setting.
Job responsibilities will include:
Managing workflow, delegate routine and important tasks, managing employee rotations in the work area
Staffing - participating in the hiring and staffing of all functional job responsibilities, including scheduling Overtime
Responsibility for shipping equipment and schedule replacement requirements
Supervising multiple shifts which will require clear communication to all direct reports on timely basis
Project management skills, will be leading process improvement efforts that positively impact the shipping organization
Understanding of statistical process controls and key performance indicators for shipping
Strong communication skills and ability to enforce policies and guidelines of the company and department
Attention to safety, quality and performance goals of organization
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a 4 year ABET cert. technical degree with 2 years of exp.; or 4 years business degree with 4 years related exp.; or High School / Tech degree and 8 years exp.
